Understanding Conflict resolution in Cooperatives (Voice of Kigezi Talkshow)

Across the country, cooperatives have been embroiled in conflicts. In issue 7, theCooperator wrote an in-depth story about the conflicts within the apex body – Uganda Cooperative Alliance. However, such conflicts are not limited to the apex body alone. In addition to theCooperator, the mainstream media has also been awash with stories of conflicts and infighting within cooperatives, mainly exacerbated by weak conflict resolution mechanisms.

Therefore, the coop talks focused on conflicts management and resolution mechanism in cooperatives in Uganda.
