Q: What is the Coop360o Network?

It is an international community and marketplace of member cooperatives, non-cooperative organisations, and individuals who work with and for the cooperative movement to promote inclusive, green socio-economic development.

Q: Who operates the platform?

It's an initiative of the Uhuru Institute for Social Development, a social business providing training, development support, Microfinance, media, and digital services to cooperatives.

Membership

Q: Who can join the Coop360o Network?

Membership is open to:
  • Primary Cooperatives meeting minimum membership, capital, and revenue requirements.
  • Secondary, tertiary, and apex cooperatives with at least three active members, 500 individual members, and specified capital/revenue thresholds.
  • Cooperative partners such as private businesses, NGOs, development partners, and non-profits working with cooperatives.
  • Associate individuals who are practitioners or service providers (e.g. trainers, coaches, mentors) interested in working with cooperatives.

Q: How do I apply for membership?

Send and email to coop360memberservices@uhuruinstitute.org expressing interest. You will complete a Know Your Member questionnaire, provide required documents, and if qualified pay the joining fee and annual subscription before receiving your membership pack.
